Copip Mobile Application

Copip-Mobile-Application
I’ve been getting the same curious questions over and over:

“Wait… I thought you were building flats? Weren’t you a handyman or franchisor or something? Then I saw you doing Parcel Force deliveries… Real estate not working out? Franchise stalled? And now you’re suddenly into farming? You haven’t even finished the flats and you’ve moved on to agriculture? Oh wait — you’re not even planting anymore… you’re building an app?”

My answer is always the same, with a smile: Zoom out. You’re standing too close.

This life we’re living? It’s one giant, beautiful puzzle. The way you solve any puzzle is simple: you start with the edges, keep the big picture in mind, and patiently fit the pieces together — even when they don’t slide in exactly how you expected.

Every chapter of our journey — hospitality, deliveries, franchising, real estate — wasn’t a random detour. They were all edge pieces.

And right now, those pieces have clicked together into something exciting. It all started on our 20-acre farm in Ghana. My wife and I rolled up our sleeves: clearing thick forest, digging a borehole, planting cassava with our own hands. She’s been an absolute superstar — sacrificing tirelessly while investor funds trickled in slower than we hoped. Thanks to her grit, we’ve made massive progress. But something was still missing. The puzzle wasn’t complete. We needed a way to make this land truly ours — and profitable enough to sustain our life, our dreams, and the rising cost of living. Then, around January, I noticed something powerful. Maize and soya beans (everyday commodities here in Ghana) were in constant high demand. Trucks rolled in daily from the Upper West, yet supply never quite met the need. There was a clear disconnect between farmers, aggregators, and buyers — full of friction, stress, and lost opportunities.I tested the waters myself. Using old trader contacts, I sold 50 bags of maize. What I experienced was eye-opening: the endless hustle to find decent warehousing (often just someone’s house compound), nightmare logistics, delayed payments, and constant worry about unreliable supply.

And then came the dramatic twist — the buyer ordered way more than he could immediately afford. That’s when the lightbulb moment hit: We could fix all of this.

Enter Copip — the mobile app we’re building to revolutionize how commodities move across Ghana. Imagine a simple, powerful platform that connects:

Traders & aggregators who want to sell fast and get paid securely

Buyers who can purchase with ease (including flexible “Buy Now, Pay Later” options through our integration with Hubtel’s Pay Small Small)

Hosts who can earn serious extra income by renting out storage space or compounds on flexible terms — from 1 month to 12 months (no more forced 12-month leases!)

No more stressful warehouse hunts. No more endless price bargaining slowing down sales. No more produce rotting while waiting for buyers. And for hosts outside Accra? You get to enjoy lower living costs while tapping into higher-paying urban demand — just like an Airbnb for commodity storage. We’re keeping it stupidly simple and building on the strong foundation already laid by the Ghana Commodities Exchange (GCX). The app works offline where internet is spotty, because in Ghana, everyone has access to a smartphone — even if reliable data isn’t always there.

This isn’t just another marketplace app. Copip is designed to be the “boat” in the classic riddle of the wolf, the goat, and the cabbage — carefully helping farmers, middlemen, retailers, and buyers navigate the tricky realities of agriculture: getting paid on time, moving goods efficiently, and preventing losses.

If we get this right, it could spark a real agricultural revolution across Ghana and beyond the whole continent could benefit— empowering every tier of the value chain with transparency, speed, and opportunity.

The app is built. We’re deep in testing right now, and we’re aiming to launch soon on the Google Play Store so millions of Ghanaians can start using it.

Android users — if you want early access to test Copip, just reply here or send me an email and I’ll reach out personally. (iOS version is coming later!)

This is our story. This is our puzzle coming together, piece by exciting piece. And the best part? The picture on the box looks incredible.

Welcome to Copip — where agriculture meets opportunity, and the hustle finally gets a whole lot smarter.
